By no means is Creadium a book review blog, but when I read this post on Lazy Book Reviews (one of my more fave Tumblogs) I had to share it.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I was a little messed up for a couple of days after finishing Mockingjay, the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy. And, contrary to what some are trying to say, I wasn’t damaged by the explicit content or the “adult” themes. I was affected by the raw, emotional reality that Collins did not shy away from portraying. There have only been a few books that leave me so emotionally raw at the end.

Okay, so, literally a year after reading the first book of “The Hunger Games,” I got around to reading the second two, in Vegas. Which is random, because I certainly loved the first book, and just…dicked around for a while.
“Mockingjay,” man. “Mockingjay.”
Fuckin’ dark, you know?
